From Heart to Hospitality

For more than 20 years, Egg Harbor has been a cherished place for our family. What began as summer visits with our four children — now grown — turned into a dream to create a space where others could experience the same sense of beauty, peace, and connection that first drew us here.

Melissa (“Mel”) has over 23 years of experience as a hospice nurse, where she learned that care, compassion, and presence make all the difference. Her gift for creating spaces that are both beautiful and deeply comfortable shines throughout the inn — every suite reflects her eye for detail and her heart for hospitality.

Greg has spent the past 30 years in contact centers and consulting, but his true passion is in the kitchen. Years ago, he set out to create a whole-wheat pancake recipe his kids would actually eat — a quest that took over a year and sparked a lifelong obsession with breakfast. For the past five years, Greg has been crafting and refining recipes — including options for those with dietary restrictions — testing them endlessly on friends and family until each one felt just right.



Together, we see this Bed and Breakfast not just as a business, but as a calling. We believe hospitality is one of the best ways to make the world a little brighter: through warm conversations, thoughtful touches, nourishing meals, and a place where guests feel truly at home.
